Montana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators
The Montana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA) is an organization serving the needs of students, institutions of higher education, government agencies, and private funding sources through the coordination of plans and programs for student financial aid.
In addition, MASFAA assists with communications between institutions of post-secondary education and sponsors of student financial aid.
The Association serves as the State forum and acts as the focus for the expression of views on matters relating to the development, funding and administration of student financial aid at the state, regional and national levels. Support is available from colleges in your area. See the link to the map below. Need something else, please reach out to the President or the board.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear MASFAA Members,
As we gather in the breathtaking expanse of Big Sky Country, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to connect with each of you. Our beautiful state serves as a reminder of the vast horizons we can explore together, not just in the great outdoors but within the landscape of student financial aid.
This year, my presidential focus centers on continuing education—a pillar that strengthens our profession and empowers the students we serve. I encourage you to take advantage of RMASFAA's Summer Institute. At this year’s Spring Annual Conference, we raised a significant amount to support the Mick Hanson Scholarship, which provides an invaluable opportunity to participate in RMASFAA's Leadership Pipeline. Please consider submitting an application. Additionally, I am committed to promoting more Montana Financial Aid Administrators to prepare for and take the FAAC credential. Earning this credential not only enhances our professional credibility but also demonstrates our dedication to excellence in financial aid administration.
As you know, the pressures on our financial aid offices can feel overwhelming at times. But remember, we are Better Together and each one of you is a significant piece of our puzzle. The strength of our organization lies in our collective wisdom, experience, and support for one another. When we network and share our insights, we become stronger advocates for our students, more effective in our roles, and more resilient in the face of challenges.
Please take time to enjoy all that Montana has to offer. The landscapes, the camaraderie, and the rich discussions will surely inspire us as we move forward in our mission to provide support and guidance to those who need it most. Just remember, if you get lost—just look for the nearest student loan office; we’re never too far from one!
Let us embrace the spirit of collaboration, continue to uplift each other, and reinforce our commitment to education and service. Together, we can achieve great things for our students and our communities.
Thank you all for your dedication and hard work.
Warm regards,
Carol Will2025 MASFAA CONFERENCE PHOTOS & UPCOMING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES!
