The Montana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MtASFAA) is a non-profit organization serving the needs of students, institutions of higher education, government agencies, and private funding sources through the coordination of plans and programs for student financial aid.
In addition, MtASFAA assists with communications between institutions of post-secondary education and sponsors of student financial aid.
The Association serves as the State forum and acts as the focus for the expression of views on matters relating to the development, funding and administration of student financial aid at the state, regional and national levels. PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

I am honored to serve as the 2026-27 President of the Montana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA). MASFAA has played an important role in my professional journey, and it means a great deal to give back in a leadership role. I am especially passionate about advocacy and ensuring that the voices of financial aid professionals, along with the students we serve, are heard at both the state and national levels.

In my day-to-day work, I serve as a Financial Aid Administrator at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I support medical students as they navigate the financial aspects of their education. I enjoy helping students and their families understand their options and feel confident making informed financial decisions.

I strongly believe in the power of professional engagement, mentorship, and collaboration. As President, I am committed to supporting our members through meaningful training opportunities, strengthening our professional network, and continuing to elevate the important work we do in higher education.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in Montana’s outdoors, going to concerts, reading, and spending time with my rescue dog, Frank.

RMASFAA Leadership Pipeline

The first of its kind among regional financial aid associations, the Leadership Pipeline program is designed to foster a heightened understanding of leadership principles - uniquely focused on the profession of financial aid administration - and provide direct exposure to association leadership, governance, structure, needs, and challenges. The Leadership Application is available in early spring. The application generally consists of a personal letter of interest, supervisor letter of support, and a commitment to association volunteerism upon successful completion of the program. Selected mentees will be notified by the Leadership Pipeline Chair in late summer of their admission into the program. MtASFAA scholarship available! Ask a board member for details.
